Antivirus – There are free AV products available and Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 10 have what used to be the free antivirus Microsoft Windows Essentials, now called Windows Defender, built in. However, we would recommend a paid-for product, ESET Internet Security.

Backup – Online backup provides peace of mind and is easy to set up at a reasonable cost.

Remote access - Remote access tools allow you to access a pc from a remote location.

For business use, I use Splashtop to provide remote support to my customers. Nothing is permanently installed, and support can be given quickly and easily on Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android.
iPad/iPhone – I use and recommend JockIT in Fetcham for all iPhone and iPad screen repairs and they do an excellent job.
